Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference Offers All-Expense-Paid Opportunity for Aspiring Journalists

Attention aspiring journalists: The Accreditation Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications and the Freedom Forum are partnering to promote The Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference for high school students this summer. This program brings together one student from each state and the District of Columbia for an all-expense-paid, five-day conference held in Washington, D.C., from June 22-27.

The conference offers in-depth panel conversations with journalists, behind-the-scenes newsroom visits and a chance to meet students and industry leaders who share a passion for news.

Participants also receive a $1,000 college scholarship and ongoing support from a community of more than 1,500 alumni.
