2021 Spring Awards Ceremony

The Spring Awards recognizes Broadcasts, Newspapers, Newsmagazines and News Websites. General Excellence and Individual Award contest winners are announced. Recipients of awards administered throughout the year are also honored, including the Georgia Champion Journalist of the Year and Junior Champion Journalist of the Year, First Amendment Essay finalists and Achievement Award winners.

Twenty-five publications were entered into the spring General Excellence contest and 525 individual award entries were submitted. Congratulations to all of the winners and honorees! View the PDF of the presentation here.

General Excellence critiques and social media graphics will be emailed to advisers who entered the competitions. Plaques, framed certificates and printed certificates will be mailed in early May.
