Don’t forget to submit your best work for the General Excellence and Individual Spring competitions by Friday, March 6!

GSPA welcomes entries from newspapers, newsmagazines, news websites and broadcast outlets. For the General Excellence competition, newspapers and newsmagazine should mail two copies each of the two best issues for the 2019-2020 year. News websites and broadcasts must provide links to the publications on the entry form. The contest fee is $35 per publication (or $30 for the critique only).

GSPA offers 34 separate individual categories to recognize outstanding student journalism. Category descriptions have been updated for 2020, so please review each category before submitting work. Individual entries are $2 each.

Entries for GSPA Achievement awards must also be submitted by March 6. Nominate your administrators, advisers, staffs and students for Achievement Awards using this link. There is no cost for Achievement Award entries.

All required forms will be submitted via online forms found on the GSPA website under Spring Contests. Entries for both contests must have been published between Feb. 1, 2019 and March 6, 2020 for consideration.

GSPA membership is required to enter all GSPA competitions.
