GSPA and its members from across the state celebrated the best in scholastic journalism at the 2024 Spring Workshop and Awards March 25 at the University of Georgia’s Georgia Center for Continuing Education.

Recipients of awards administered throughout the year were recognized, and the Spring General Excellence and Individual Awards results in Broadcasts, Newspapers, Newsmagazines and News Websites were announced.

Thirty-five publications were entered into the spring General Excellence contest and nearly 625 individual award entries were submitted into 38 categories. Congratulations to all of the winners and honorees! View a pdf of winners.

General Excellence critiques will be emailed to advisers who entered the competitions. Plaques, framed certificates and printed certificates not picked up at the awards ceremony will be mailed.
