Complete the on-the-spot Conference Checklist for a chance to win a prize

At the GSPA Fall Conference, students will have the chance to fully immerse themselves in activities designed to boost their journalism skills and “broaden their perspectives.” To help students experience everything the event has to offer, we’ve created a Fall Conference Checklist for attendees to complete.

Instructions:

  1. Pick Up Your Checklist: When you arrive at the conference, grab your checklist from the registration table. It’s a guide to make sure you don’t miss out on any learning opportunities.

  2. Explore, Engage, and Check Off: Throughout the day, check off each activity as you participate in workshops, visit the exhibits, or attend sessions. Each item on the checklist will guide you to different parts of the conference, helping you make the most of the event. You might find yourself learning a new skill, connecting with other student journalists, or discovering new ideas for your publication.

  3. Drop It Off for a Chance to Win: Once you’ve completed your checklist, make sure to drop it in the designated basket near the registration table before the end of the day. Every completed checklist enters you into a drawing for a special prize. The winner will be announced in the week following the conference.

The Fall Conference will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24 at UGA’s Tate Student Center.
