On-the-Spot Photo Contest winners named from 2024 Fall Conference

Thirty-two entrants explored the theme of “Viewpoints” for the On-the-Spot Photography Contest during the 2024 Fall Conference. It was no easy task for the judges, as everyone did an excellent job. Certificates and swag will be mailed to advisers. The winners are as follows:

First Place: Lydia Abell, Lakeview Academy, Lioness, 10th grade

Judge’s comments: “This photo was chosen for first place because of its use of depth and focus to bring the story to life. The out of focus people help to show the concept of time and personify the classes of future students who will enter Sanford Stadium and become part of the student section and the tradition.”

Second Place: Caroline Franklin, McIntosh High School, The Legend, 12th grade

Third Place: Nora Bradshaw, Chestatee High School, The Eagle Yearbook, 10th grade

Honorable Mention: Kalynne Pressler, LaGrange High School, 10th grade

Second Place:Studying to pass her exams, Savannah Wright (10) shows a different point of view behind her A+ grades, Coverage and Photo By Caroline Franklin, McIntosh High School.

Third Place: Double Vision,  Student biker casts a shadow as seen from the viewpoint of the Tate Center Bridge, Coverage and Photo By Nora Bradshaw, Chestatee High School. 

Honorable Mention: Concentration is key,Coverage and Photo By Kalynne Pressler, LaGrange High School.
