GSPA and its members from across the state celebrated the best in scholastic journalism at the 2022 Spring Workshop and Awards April 11 at the University of Georgia’s Georgia Center for Continuing Education.

Recipients of awards administered throughout the year were recognized, and the Spring General Excellence and Individual Awards results in Broadcasts, Newspapers, Newsmagazines and News Websites were announced.

Twenty-five publications were entered into the spring General Excellence contest and more than 700 individual award entries were submitted into 32 categories. General Excellence critiques will be emailed to advisers who entered the competitions. Plaques, framed certificates and printed certificates not picked up at the awards ceremony on April 11 will be mailed.
