2020 summer contests moved to early Fall

After taking into account various considerations, including the K-12 and UGA campus closures, reports of delays of delivery for certain books and delays in printing for some publishers, the GSPA General Excellence and Individual Award contests for yearbooks and literary magazines will be held in early fall instead of summer for this year only.

Yearbook and literary magazines published in the 2019-20 academic year will be accepted from Aug. 1 through Sept. 30 for General Excellence critiques/contests. Entries for Individual Awards also will be accepted during the Aug 1-Sept. 30 window.

Online entry forms and updates will be posted on the yearbook/literary magazine contest page as they become available. Please do not mail books before Aug. 1. Campus closures mean we are unable to receive and process mail at this time.

Please note GSPA membership is required to enter all GSPA competitions. All memberships expire at the end of each academic year. If you are uncertain of your membership status, please email gspa@uga.edu.
