The Journalism Education Association and National Scholastic Press Association (JEA/NSPA) shift to a virtual format for this year’s Fall National High School Journalism Convention. The convention is set for Nov. 19-21.

Keynote speakers include Patricia Mazzei of The New York Times and Wesley Lowery of “60 Minutes: 60 in 6.” Mazzei serves as the Miami bureau chief for The New York Times, covering Florida and Puerto Rico. Lowery, formerly of The Washington Post, serves as a correspondent for “60 in 6” on the new mobile device platform Quibi.

The Fall National High School Journalism Convention stands as the nation’s largest gathering of scholastic journalists, advisers and journalism teachers. This year, attendees will operate on a Hubb convention platform. Attendees will receive a unique username and password to access convention materials on the platform starting Nov. 16.

Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. Central time on Nov. 13, 2020. Members of JEA/NSPA can register for $49 and non-members for $64. Click here to register.
