On-the-spot photo winners named

Students explored the theme of “Intersect” at the 2019 Fall Conference. Out of 33 entries, judges selected the following winners:

First Place

Lexy Butler, Towns County High School, Yearbook, 10th grade

Judges’ comments:

”This is a clean photo with a creative composition. The photo represents the intersection of technology and photography.”

Second Place

Yunju Lee, McIntosh High

Judges’ comments:

The angle of this photo is a great idea to showcase intersection. We see faces and arms linked in a way that captures the emotion and connection of each person.

Third Place

Claire Mulkey, Roswell High School

Judges’ comments:

“Another good example of getting a unique angle and getting close to the subject. A neat example of ‘intersection’ with the bars on the bike rack and the dichotomy of the moped parked here.”
